Walking Weekend – March 29th-30th 2025 – Pennine Way

Have you ever wanted to walk the Pennine Way? Well, here’s your chance.

Event: Walking Weekend - Two days walking on the Pennine Way

Dates: Saturday 29th March AM to Sunday 30th March PM 2025

Details: Walking with some navigational training, open to all levels.

Open to: Anyone over the age of 14 - Rangers, YLs and Guiders

Cost: £30

Accommodation: Staying over in Earby Youth Hostel

Kit list required: A rucksack, sleeping bag, personal kit, good waterproofs, walking boots or good trainers (you will be carrying all your own kit and food - we will let you know about food you will need with further instructions)

Walking distance: Around 8 miles per day

Starting location: Ickornshaw

End location: Gargrave
