We are thrilled to share that The National Lottery Community Fund have approved our application and granted us an amazing £391,000 to enable us to complete the essential works to open the Ground Floor and Basement to our members and local community groups.
Our Project Manager has been planning the works needed including plumbing, heating, electrics, plastering, painting, installation of ceilings, sanitaryware, floorings and many other jobs to ensure that the building meets all the standards required to be able to welcome people back into the Centre.
We are still fundraising in any way possible to complete the 1st Floor residential accommodation which is currently only stud walls and needs further works including plastering, radiators, plumbing, ceilings, 2nd fix electrics etc. We would like to be able to open the 1st Floor at the same time as the Ground Floor and Basement and therefore continue to fundraise.
